So the madness is over.. It’s been a hell of a week.. And weekend… but boy was it fun! From the looks of it, Pride 2012 was definitely a success. The community really came together to show why  Pride Toronto is the largest parade in North America.

What really stood out for me was the support shown by the corporate community. Yes it was a way of marketing their products and services to an ever growing and profitable sect, but it was amazing to see the effort they put into showing just how diverse their companies can be. I saw corporations like TD (long standing supporters) and even Old Navy. Let’s not forget the Trojan warriors in their hard hats and utility belts handing out condoms and promoting safer sex!

It wasn’t all about the hot bods though.. Good causes like the Toronto People With Aids Foundation (PWA) Friends for Life Bike Rally were well represented.It was refreshing to those important issues on display to remind us all that there’s still much work to be done.

All in all it was a great weekend packed with friendly queers, fantastic corporate sponsors and fabulous parties. Next up? Pride Montreal!!
